Tour Description and Initerary...
Day 1: NEW DELHI
Arrival. NEW DELHI “Capital of India” sprawled over the west bank of the river Yamuna is one of the fastest growing cities in India. It is surrounded on three sides by Haryana and to the east, across the river Yamuna by Uttar Pradesh. Historically, the city has long since been the foremost in political importance with successive dynasties choosing it as their seat of power, between the 13th and the 17th centuries. Remnants of the glorious past survive as important monuments in different parts of the city. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Later day free at leisure. Over night stay at New Delhi.
Day 2: NEW DELHI SIGHTEEING
Morning after breakfast day free for sightseeing visiting the RED FORT – Built in 17th Century, the palace for Shah Jahan's new capital, Shahjahanabad, the seventh Muslim city in the Delhi site. He moved his capital from Agra in a move designed to bring prestige to his reign, and to provide ample opportunity to apply his ambitious building schemes and interests. RAJ GHAT - Mahatma Gandhi's earthly journey came to an end on January 30,1948. The body was cremated the following day here on the western bank of river Yamuna., JAMA MASJID - Situated in the ancient town of Old Delhi, the Jama or Jami Masjid is the final architectural extravaganza of the Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan. This monument was built between 1644 and 1658 by five thousand artisans. INDIA GATE - Situated on the Rajpath in New Delhi, India Gate (originally called the All India War Memorial) is a monument built by Edwin Lutyens to commemorate the Indian Soldiers who died in the World War I and the Afghan Wars. RASHTRAPATI BHAWAN - is the official residence of the President of India, located in New Delhi. Until 1950 it was known as "Viceroy's House" and served as the residence of the Governor-General of India. LOTUS TEMPLE - A lotus-shaped outline has etched itself on the consciousness of the city's inhabitants, capturing their imagination, fuelling their curiosity, and revolutionizing the concept of worship. QUTUB MINAR - the tallest brick Minaret in the world, and an important example of Indo-Islamic Architecture. After sightseeing evening free for shopping or personal independent activities. Overnight stay at New Delhi.

Day 3:NEW DELHI TO AGRA [247 Kms - Approx 5 Hrs drive]
Morning after breakfast check-out from hotel & depart for Agra. AGRA – An ancient city on the bank of Yamuna River in India, within the state of uttar Pradesh having three World Heritage Sites. It achieved prominence as the capital of the Mughal sovereigns from 1526 to 1658 and remains a major tourist destination because of its many splendid Mughal-era buildings, most notably the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. Agra's importance grew during the reigns of Akbar, Jehangir and Shah Jahan, and became a major center of art, culture, commerce and learning. On arrival in Agra, check in to the hotel. Later evening free for sightseeing visiting the world famous monument ‘TAJ MAHAL’ - An immense mausoleum of white marble, built in Agra between 1631 and 1648 by order of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favourite wife, the Taj Mahal is the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage. [CLOSED ON FRIDAY] AGRA FORT – The fort also known as Fort Rouge & Red Fort. It is about 2.5 Kms north west of its much more famous sister monument, the Taj Mahal. The Fort can be more accurately described as a walled palatial city. Evening free for shopping or personal independent activities. Overnight stay at Agra.
Day 4: AGRA SIGHTSEEING
Morning after breakfast depart for sightseeing visiting the SIKANDARA FORT - This place is where you will find „The Great Emperor Akbar‟s‟ tomb [1542-1605]. Akbar was the greatest Mughal emperor. During his reign, he managed to conquer most of India. He ruled India well. Both Hindu and Muslim people liked him for his kindness and bravery. He was the master ruler of entire Mughal Empire. FATEHPUR SIKRI – The city of victory. Built during the second half of the 16th century by the Emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri was the capital of the Mughal Empire for only some 10 years. This complex of monuments and temples, all in a uniform architectural style, includes one of the largest mosques in India, the Jama Masjid. Return back to the hotel. Evening day free for personal independent activities. Overnight stay at Agra.
Day 5:AGRA TO JAIPUR [256 Kms – Approx 5 Hrs drive]
Morning after breakfast check out from hotel & depart for Jaipur. JAIPUR – Also popularly known as „The Pink City‟ & capital of Rajasthan. The city was discovered in 1728 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber. He city was built of Pink Stucco in imitation of sandstone, & in remarkably among pre-modern Indian cities for the width & regularity of its street. On arrival at Jaipur, check in to the hotel. Later after lunch depart for sightseeing visiting AMBER FORT - The Amber Palace complex overlooking the artificial lake south of Amber town is one of the most popular tourist sites in the city, famous for its mixture of Hindu and Muslim architecture, and offering elephant rides from the town up to the palace courtyard. However, although the structure is today known as Amber fort, the complex was initiatlly a Palace Complex within the Fort of Amber which is today known as Jaigarh fort. Evening free for shopping or personal independent activities. Return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 6:JAIPUR
Morning after breakfast day free for sightseeing of Jaipur comprising of CITY PALACE - Raja Sawai Jai Singh built the City Palace Complex in the heart of his newly founded capital and it is clearly one of the most imposing and magnificent examples of art and architecture. It is now occupied by the costume gallery of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum displaying regal costumes such as exquisite and precious Pashmina Shawls, Banarasi silk saris, Sanganeri prints, embroidery and the voluminous clothes worn by the giant Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh I (ruled 1750-68). HAWA MAHAL - The best-known landmark and the signature monument of Jaipur, Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds was built by the poet King Sawai Pratap Singh. Though, it is a part of the City Palace, it is situated on the other side of the road. It is built in such as manner so as to allow the ladies of the royal family to watch the colorful bazaars and processions going across the city while maintaining their tradition of being veiled and not to be seen from outside. JANTAR MANTAR – It is one of the five observatories of India built by Sawai Jai Singh, the leading astronomer of his times and the founder of Jaipur. Jantar Mantar of Jaipur is one of the largest and the best preserved. The collection of giant masonry astronomical instruments continues to provide accurate information even today and is comparable with the most sophisticated instruments of today. BIRLA MANDIR – Also known as The Laxmi Narayan is located in the South of Jaipur, and was built by the Birla family, which is a major industrialist family of India. This is why, the temple is called the 'Birla Mandir'. It is situated quite close to the Moti Doongri fort, which was converted to a small palace by Ram Singh II and Gayatri Devi After sightseeing return back to the hotel. Evening free for last minute shopping. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 7:JAIPUR TO NEW DELHI
After breakfast half day free Leisure / personal independent activities. Later check out in the afternoon at 1200 hrs & proceed to New Delhi. On arrival in New Delhi, transfer to the International Airport to depart for onward destination.
